- Description:
- The 3D Imaging Center at DTU Physics wants to purchase a high-energy X-ray source. The X-ray source will be part of an instrument for high-resolution radiography and tomography of large samples consisting of dense materials such as bone, concrete and steel. The power and voltage of the source must enable an X-ray beam to be producednet for measuring a high number of projections so that a reconstruction with high spatial resolution can be made. In order for a number of different samples to be measured at the same time, with different test environments being used, the source will be fixed on a translation that moves the source vertically. The sourcewill be used in a radiation shielded room designed for a source with a single forward radiation cone.
