Mastra is an abbreviation for engineering traffic counts, and it is Denmark's central traffic data system. Mastra is driven and developed by the Road Directorate and it is built up about an Oracle database.

Mastra is used for collection, quality assurance, storage, finishing and presentation of traffic measurements (traffic registrations). The finished traffic data is used by a large number of other systems, eg in connection with coating optimization. From counting devices on the roads, data is loaded directly into Mastra or via a browser.

In Mastra, there are built-in algorithms that automatically make input control on motor vehicles counts. The automatic control generates lists in the MASTRA data control module, and after each month's completion, the marked counts are manually reviewed, and it is assessed whether data must be deleted or retaining ...
