Description: According to Statutory Order No. 969 of 25/07/2017 on emergency preparedness for ice breaking, it has been decided that the ice breaking tasks in four bounded Danish waters are solved in a private-public cooperation between the defense and the maritime profession.

The collaboration is based on several contingency agreements, of which this offer deals with ice breaking in the Småland waters and is concluded for the ice season 2022/2023, covering the period 15 December 2022 to 31 March 2023 both days inclusive.

The emergency response agreement means that private operators who choose to enter into a contingency agreement with the state undertake to provide an emergency preparedness for ice breaking, which within a 24 -hour notice must be able to depart against the emergency area. The contingency agreement is concluded by the Ministry of Defense Material and Purchasing Agency (FMI).
