Description:
The main contract includes the establishment of six new stands (E91-E96) in the north-eastern areas of the airport, the establishment of three new stands (E78-E80) south-west of existing stand E81, reconfiguration and upgrading of stands F10 F15 as a replacement for stands F90-F98. All new stands must be established for use by full code C aircraft. In addition, connections must be established to existing taxiways and a new taxiway H must be constructed exclusively for code C aircraft. Finally, a new AWF (Airside Waste Facility) must be established to replace the existing one, which must decomposed and removed. Locations and extent appear from the drawings and descriptions. The area is located in the north-eastern areas of the airport and south of Finger F and is within the CSRA area (Critical Security Restricted Area).
The project includes complex works in a highly regulated airport environment where there are special requirements for both safety, logistics and coordination with flight operations, which is why CPH has assessed that it is crucial that the execution is carried out by one main contractor rather than dividing the tendered contract into several subcontracts, as this ensures the overall realization of the project within the time, financial and project frameworks that have been established.
The contract is awarded to the tenderer who has submitted the most economically advantageous offer using the award criterion best ratio between price and quality.
