- The Ministry of Defence's Property Agency is responsible for ensuring the operation and maintenance of the current nationwide siren warning system, which is used to warn the population in connection with major accidents and disasters. In Denmark, 1,045 electronic warning sirens have been installed on buildingsings or on masts, and with the siren warning system it is possible to warn in urban areas with more than 1,000 inhabitants, which means that 80 per cent of Denmark's population can be notified with the system. The last 20 per cent of the population can be alerted with mobile sirens attached to police cars. Must includeas a new framework agreement for the maintenance of the national siren warning system. The framework agreement will cover all of Denmark. The framework agreement will have a duration of up to 10 years and must include inspection and maintenance of sirens. In addition, the framework agreement also covers fault-remedial operation, including handling ofalarms from the sirens to ensure that all sirens are always working. The framework agreement also includes an option to set up billing meters on individual sirens as well as advice on an hourly basis. Today, a stock of spare parts and materials for the sirens is maintained. In the future, this warehouse is intended toshould be handled by the new Supplier in the following way: The Supplier will manage the warehouse for Spare Parts, which are unique to the sirens. This spare parts warehouse will continue to be owned by the Danish Property Agency. In addition, the Supplier must take care and maintain a usual stock of Materials for use...
