Description:
The Swedish Road Directorate expects in the 2nd - 4th quarter of 2024 to carry out a tender regarding the contract for the staffing of the Swedish Road Directorate's Traffic Centre. The contract, which is deemed to have been tendered, includes the operational staffing of the Road Directorate's Traffic Centre. For a number of staff, there will be redundanciestransfer of authority.
It is the Trafikcenter's task to have an overview of the traffic on the state roads and on selected major municipal roads around the clock, all year round, as well as to intervene actively when the circumstances warrant it, and to inform about the traffic conditions in the event of emergency incidents and road works.

The Traffic Center develops continuously and is involved in an increasing number of tasks, with the consequent expansion of the Traffic Centre's work portfolio and competence requirements.
