Description:
Acquisition of surface scanning system for 3 C-arm-shaped accelerators (2 Varian Truebeam and 1 Varian Clinac iX) and 2 ring-shaped accelerators (Varian Ethos) as well as service and maintenance thereof. Radiation therapy requires a surface scanning system that ensures precise radiation positioning of the patient, etced reduced use of ionizing radiation and with minimal need for physical fixation. The system must also monitor the patient during the irradiation itself and react by interrupting the radiation if the patient's position changes while radiation is in progress for precise and safe delivery of the radiation dose. The acquisition must sayensure that equipment and software are purchased that are operationally reliable and can be used for patient setup and respiratory-adapted radiotherapy on all radiation accelerators, and that can ensure precise delivery of the dose to the cancerous tumor and a minimal dose of ionized irradiation to the healthy tissue.
