- The tender concerns the purchase of operating equipment for heat production for all of the Ordering party's units and departments. From mid-2024 onwards, the ordering party must produce district heating on a number of different plants, including sea heat pumps, wood chip units and various heating plants based on vegetable oil or naturegas. The production of district heating must be based on an overall optimization consideration, which is based on the entire plant portfolio according to the Heat Supply Act. This means in practice, when the requirement is to produce district heating at the lowest possible price for the customers, that the distribution of the heat production on the facilitiescontinuously weighed up based on a consideration of delivering the required amount of heat at the lowest possible cost.
