- Supply of equipment and consumables for iFOBT Region Central Jutland expects to carry out an EU tender with a view to concluding a framework agreement regarding equipment and associated consumables for iFOBT analysis in connection with bowel cancer screening. The framework agreement is expected to include the needs of Region Central Jutland as well as a voluntary accession option for the Capital Region, Region Zealand, Region Southern Denmark and Region North Jutland. The purpose of this advance notification is to identify relevant suppliers in the market and invite these to an initial market dialogue prior to the tender. The function for bowel cancer screening in Region Central Jutland is centralized at the Laboratory Unit Blood Tests and Biochemistry, Regionshospitalet Randers. The future solution must therefore be able to support a reliable and efficient laboratory function with a focus on analysis quality, capacity, automation, IT integration and security of supply. The department handles around 135,000 samples annually, for which demands will be made to the tenderer offers a minimum of two analysis equipment to ensure backup and continued operation of the regional function and that the supplier has an existing, well-founded support and service organization in Denmark. In addition, each piece of equipment must be able to process at least 200 samples per hour, be IVD/IVDR certified in accordance with current EU regulation and include equipment-specific consumables.
