Description : The Danish Road Directorate (DRD) is developing a procurement strategy for the rollout of charging infrastructure on the national trunk network. The “Infrastructure Plan 2035” defines a financial framework of DKK 500 million from 2022 to 2030 to support a high level of service for charging on longer car journeys. A part of this rollout is expected to consist of about 480 new charging points along the motor highways, which are expected to be distributed on 32 roadside facilities. The purpose of this market dialogue is for DRD to get to know potential suppliers on the market and to initiate a dialogue with potential suppliers. DRD plan to finalise a procurement strategy and establishing charging points at the first roadside facilities by 2022. The insight DRD acquire from this market dialogue is considered as very valuable and important input to determine the procurement strategy.
