- Nordvaerk I/S owns, operates and produces heat from two waste incineration plants (L2 and L3) at the energy plant in Hj0rring located at Mand0vej 4, 9800 Hj0rring.
Nordvaerk I/S is expected to receive revised environmental approval effective from 3 December 2023. In the revised environmental approval will remain silentt requirement that fly ash and slag be separated. The existing ash system collects fly ash from several drafts and ECO for furnace lines 2 and 3 with the bottom ash. Nordvaerk I/S wants to separate the fly ash from furnace line 2 (draws 2, 3, 4 and 5, as well as ECO) and furnace line 3 (draws 2, 3, superheaters and ECO) and collect it with athe plant's other fly ash.
