- Aalborg Renovation offers pretreatment and disposal of food waste in Aalborg Municipality. The contract includes pre-treatment and disposal of food waste. From 2024, in Aalborg Municipality, food waste must be collected in green bags at all households.
The contact includes the following tasks for Aalborg Renovation:
-Pretreatment of food waste with a view to preparation for biogasification.
- Utilization of rejects from pretreatment
- Disposal of the produced biogas
- Disposal of residual product (digestate) after the biogas process. In Aalborg Municipality there are stricter requirements for the purity of the residual product.
- Other samework with the Ordering Party, cf. the contract, including delivery of statistics and reporting.
