- The strategic urban development plan for Fremtidens Niva Bymidte was adopted on 25 May 2020. With the adoption of the urban development plan, Fredensborg Municipality will make Niva Bymidte a vibrant place that offers quality life for all the city's generations. Infrastructure and urban space must be developedand built in line with the Strategic Urban Development Plan for the Future Level City Center a denser structure with far more functions than the current city centre. The urban development plan includes both private urban development with new housing and massive investment in public functions, concretely through the establishment ofHouses of Generations (school, library, cultural centre, nursing homes and swimming pool). It must all be tied together by the construction of new infrastructure, new urban spaces and green areas, which together must fulfill the vision of a safe and vibrant city centre. The House of Generations is thus not one house but several functions, som as a whole binds the city center together. Life will take place in and between the houses, and for the same reason, for example, parts of the school's functions are located in the library building. This achieves a flow of life between the buildings. A guiding principle is that the maximum possible sharing of functions must be created. Both offregard for optimized utilization and operation of the areas, but also to create as much traffic and life as possible in and out of all parts of Generationernes Hus for large parts of the day....
