Description: The developer, Region Zealand, has decided that a new hospital laundry should be erected as a replacement for the laundry in Holbæk that burned down in 2018.
The decision was made on the regional council on March 8, 2022, when case and decisions are shown in the reports of the regional council meeting.
The laundry is placed in Tuse near Holbæk, in the northwestern part of the region. The laundry must supplement the region's laundry in Nykøbing Falster, based on the intention that these two laundries can be the laundry generated in the region's hospitals.
The laundry will service the region's hospitals and be dimensioned for a daily production of a minimum of 15 tonnes of laundry.
