- This tendering order applies to the tendering of total consultancy regarding the modernization of the museum in T0nder for the Museum of Southern Jutland.
Museum Southern Jutland prepared in 2021 a comprehensive plan for the museum in T0nder focusing on optimizing and modernizing areas and functions of the existing onesbuildings, to create a coherent museum experience. The overall plan does not propose a complete renovation of the entire museum, but a targeted renovation and remodeling of selected areas.
Total counseling task includes qualification and further development of the overall plan in close collaboration withThe developer, based on the following main elements:
• Establishing a new, centrally located main entrance
• Establishing a new lecture hall
• Establishing a new classroom
• Establishing a new cafe area and kitchen
• Establishing office workplaces for staff
• Expansion of the Wegner intermediaryblue. Through the redevelopment of the old pump house
• Technical upgrade of the museum's climate and safety plants
the project only includes interior modernization and remodeling and adaptation of selected facades, not the establishment of outdoor areas.
The museum is expected to be closed during the execution period.
