The Port of Hirtshals has identified a potential in making areas available to one or more market players who can and will build, own and operate wind energy facilities at the Port of Hirtshals, and who in addition can and will establish port-related activities that support a green transition from .a. fossil fuels, goods in and out of the quay or enters into synergy with own or other companies at the port of Hirtshal in the use of wind energy or the excess energy from the other port-related activities, and where the port's users, in addition to access to the produced power, obtain benefitsno herewith. On this basis, the Port of Hirtshals has decided to initiate a market dialogue with a view to uncovering relevant market players as well as the commercial, legal, professional and authority-related conditions that relevant market players will set as a prerequisite in a competition basis forthe right to build, own and operate wind energy installations (wind turbines) at Hirtshals harbour. In addition to being able to build and operate wind energy facilities at Hirtshals harbour, Hirtshals harbor has an expectation that at the same time and by the market actor associated port-related activities that supportis a green transition from i.a. fossil fuels, goods in and out of the quay.
