Description:
The project involves refurbishment and partial replacement of 170 bridge bearings on the West Bridge that is part of the Great Belt Link in Denmark. The project involves two parallel concrete bridges - one for rail and one for road. The bridges have now been in service for well over 25 years and the service life of the bearings is nearing the end. The project comprises substantial work above open waters and includes the handling of bridge bearings with a weight between 5 and 8 tonnes. It is expected that the bearings will have to be taken to land for refurbishment. *** As part of the preparation for a coming tender regarding the project mentioned above, A/S Storebælt would like to invite potential contractors/candidates to a market dialogue. The purpose of the market dialogue is to gather information and engage in a dialogue on how to best structure the tender to ensure that the technical requirements can be fulfilled by the contractors. The dialogue will be held as a two-step dialogue. The first dialogue meeting will be held as a meeting where all interested candidates can participate. The meeting will be held 22 May 2024 and will approximately be 1,5 hours. The meeting will take place on Microsoft Teams. A link for the meeting will be provided by A/S Storebælt to all interested parties.
