Climate change and scarce energy resources are one of the most important challenges in our time, and as a large company with a similarly large energy consumption, the defense see it as his obligation to reduce climate impact and contribute to the goal of Denmark to be independent of fossil fuels in 2050. Thus, the Ministry of Defense has designed "Defense Climate and Energy Strategy 2012-2015", of which the present project is part of the strategy's implementation.
