Description:
The coal site is surrounded by water and is a link between Svanem0llehavnen's recreational water sports activities and the future cultural function of Svanem0llvaerk. The Svanem0llevaerket and the Coal Square are to be developed with a new use and a new development plan that will bring together existing and new functions, buildingare and urban spaces in the area and end up in a local plan and municipal plan supplement for the area.
The coal site must accommodate a new peak load plant north of the plant, as well as a commercial building at the far end of the site to the north. The project area must also be designed with contemporary access conditions, a promenade longs Kalkbraenderihavnen, which connects to Svanem0llehavnen, audience-oriented ground floors and edge zones, as well as urban spaces that create urban life both for the harbor and the cultural institution. A competition for the transformation of the Svanem0llvaerket into a museum and technology 'hub' will be offered separately.
Citylde a design competition and subsequent tender with negotiation without prior publication, with a view to awarding a contract to the winner to act as an adviser to the Cityection of infrastructure and selected construction.
