Description:
Traffic company Movia offers Flex Variable driving as described in the tender material - FV15E - 1st retender. In the present tender, we are talking about driving with single carriages, which means that Movia sends driving orders to the individual carriages. It is expected to be driven approx. 1.5 million trips per year of that kind driving carried out in Flextrafik.
To be able to maintain the supply of these services during peak periods - and at the same time ensure a profitable collective traffic - it is considered necessary to enter into a contract with max. 600 operators per wagon type to ensure security of supply in it forthcoming contract period.
However, the tenderer must be aware that the contract contains requirements that the tenderer is obliged to drive on certain days with up to 75% of the wagons started.
Movia Flextrafik plans and offers the journey, enters into agreements with hauliers or taxi companies and takes care of everything related to operational problems. Movia Flextrafik also ensures quality assurance in relation for driver training and the interior of the cars.
Flextrafik is offered in accordance with EU regulations for the area and includes six different types of travel:
