Description:
The National Bank is Denmark's central bank. It is a self-governing and independent institution. In the Danmarks Nationalbank Act from 1936, the Danmarks Nationalbank's independence is shown by the fact that the Danmarks Nationalbank's executive board has sole responsibility for setting the monetary policy interest rates. Danmarks Nationalbank's 3 overall objectives are tohelp ensure stable prices, secure payments and stability in the financial system. Danmarks Nationalbank regularly publishes various publications on financial topics. It is, among other things, longer analyzes and reports. In addition, the bank publishes shorter texts, e.g. the so-called Nyt'er, which must provide et faster insight into the bank's analyzes and messages. In addition, the bank issues e.g. press releases and publish consultation responses on Nationalbanken.dk, and a large part of these texts need to be translated, primarily from Danish to English in high quality at short notice. In addition, there isov to have a wide selection of the bank's Danish and English texts proofread.
