Environmental assessment and packaging flows in e-commerce in Denmark
Task Description: From the Government's Growth Plan for Trade and Logistics from January 2020, it is stated in Initiative 1.1 that a global innovation check must be implemented, which will search for innovative packaging and logistics solutions in e-commerce from other countries with large and growing e-commerce . This project is focused on environmental assessment and packaging flows in e-commerce in Denmark and forms part of the larger project initiated by the Danish Environmental Protection Agency. The project contains the following sub-tasks: 1. Shorting packaging flows for e-commerce in Denmark. The mapping must describe quantities, projections, economic and environmental assessments of different types of materials and the potentials of possible alternatives. The main emphasis must be placed here, on sub-task 1.2.Milviljøv assessing e-commerce packaging. An analysis should elucidate environmental impact for generic concepts for packaging and logistics systems. 3. Behavioral study, which will provide a basis for assessing Danish companies' potential for implementing alternative solutions, cf. the environmental assessment and this must lead to quantification of environmental potentials for e-commerce.
