Description:
The Ministry of Defense's Material and Procurement Agency (FMI) wants to develop and buy up to five (5) motor rescue boats (MRB) that can carry out Search and Rescue (SAR) tasks in all kinds of weather in the sea off northwestern Denmark. The MRBs must meet new and increased requirements for flexibility, better e.gaccuracy at sea as well as higher speed, pile pulling and personnel safety. A new and larger MRB type, still meeting the stringent requirements for Coastal Rescue Service vessels, has necessitated a boat design not found on the market today, and FMI has foreseen that it is necessaryto use both new and innovative construction solutions. FMI therefore wishes to enter into an innovation partnership with a single supplier capable of developing the new, innovative design and building the vessels.
