Description:
The work includes rebuilding/renovating the School of Design. The school includes approx. 8,500 m2 on 4 floors and approx. 850 m2 basement and utility room. Building 1, was built in 1960. The building was extended towards Agade when the school was established at the address in 1996. The school was expanded to the west in 2002 with building 2, built in3 floors without basement. Buildings 1 and 2 are connected with glass and concrete staircases. The renovation includes interior remodeling to achieve greater transparency and spatial coherence. Including relocation of workshop facilities, auditorium and administration. In addition, a new internal staircase, new inserted decks are carried outas well as a new facade to the south with steel sheets and new aluminum facade sections. Ventilation ducts are being replaced for the whole house and new supplementary systems are being carried out. Lighting is generally replaced and the existing electrical installation is partially renovated. Supplementary plumbing installations and existing plumbing are carried oution is partially renovated. Building 1 has been completed with sprinklers that must be adapted to the new interior.
