- In Billund Municipality, citizens sort the daily waste from the household into the 2 fractions food waste and residual waste. Food waste is, for example, meat, fruit and vegetables ("wet waste"). Residual waste is all other waste, e.g. milk cartons, tinfoil, disposable nappies and vacuum cleaner bags. The citizens have et 2-part waste rack with paper bags for food and residual waste respectively. The bags are collected every 14 days. In spring and autumn, citizens are given 100 pieces. 8 liter paper kitchen bags for indoor collection of food waste. For indoor collection of residual waste, plastic bags must be used, as the citizensselv k0ber.
