- M4 to Nordhavn (Crnhe) is a branch from Cityringen, which today ends at Orientkaj Station. Through 2022/-23, the Metro Company has prepared an investigation report for extension of this branch. The extension occurs above the ground - primarily on viaduct.
Copenhagen Citizens' Representation adopted on 21.September 2023 - on the basis of the investigation report - an extension of the M4 route from Orientkaj with two more stations to outer Nordhavn - in the investigation report referred to as "Blue Line". The extension is home to the City Running Act on Supplement.
Crnhe is the first major project whereThe Metro Company's goal of halving the climate imprint for the performance of new metro lines is included as part of the project development. This means that the usual procedure of the metro company in the performance of new metro lines is changed in relation to design, materials, design selection and execution methods.
Tendering of the design and execution of the project is already in tender and contract is expected to be awarded in the fall of 2025. It is expected that the advisory contract for land andRights in general include the following tasks (but not exhaustively listed):
- Establishment of the basis for land acquisition
