Description:
The project includes modernization of Copenhagen Central Station.
Copenhagen Central Station is used every day by up to 90,000 passengers and operations are maintained throughout the construction period.
To ensure that the interior of the Central Station can continue to take up the increased traffic, the interior of the main hall is reorganized.
The Overall grip for the project is to reduce the number of pavilions in the hall from the existing four to two, as well as to move two elevators in line with the remaining. As a necessary measure for the construction of the new pavilions, the Hald cover is reinforced, and underlying elevator borders as well as Technique and more is being rebuilt and furnished with new technical installations.
The entire Copenhagen Central Station is protected.
There will be extra much planning and coordination in relation to
- Material stock in hall and at construction site
- Works over tracks during night and weekend worker
Work is being worked in both hall, -1 basement and -2 basement floor ie platform level
In the project there are 2 intermediate time limits. The first is for the commissioning of new elevators and the next for the commissioning of pavilions.
