Description: According to statutory order no. 969 of 25/07/2017 on preparedness for ice breaking, it has been decided that ice breakdowns in four defined Danish waters are solved in a private-public cooperation between the defense
and the maritime profession.

The cooperation is based on several emergency agreements, of which this tender 1 limited Danish waters, which is concluded for the ease of 2021/2022, covering the period 15 December 2021 to 31 March 2022. The emergency agreement entails that private operators who choose to enter into a contingency agreement with the state undertake to ask with a readiness for ice breaking, which within 24 hours must be able to depart from
the contingency area area. The emergency agreement is concluded and managed by the Sunvy command (SVK).
