Quotation are invited for Consultancy with the Purpose of Undertaking an Assessment on Climate Change and Mobility in Khartoum Process Countries (Drc Hq). publication date: 20 June 2022 closure date and time: 30 June 2022 MMC is a leading source for independent and high-quality data, research, analysis and expertise. The MMC aims to increase understanding of mixed migration, to positively impact global and regional migration policies, to inform evidence-based protection responses for people on the move and to stimulate forward thinking in public and policy debates on mixed migration. The MMC's overarching focus is on human rights and protection for all people on the move. Building on its past work on climate-related mobility, and its collaboration with the International Centre for Migration Policy Development and the Rabat Process on the report “Climate-related events and environmental stressors' roles in driving migration in West and North Africa”, MMC is undertaking a project on climate and mobility in collaboration with the Khartoum Process (KP), looking more closely at responses and activities in the countries included in this process/dialogue. The consultancy is expected to result in maximum two real-time review reports, analyzing findings and learnings from past and ongoing diaspora emergency responses, including recommendations on future programmatic approaches as to how to engage with diaspora during humanitarian response.
