Description:
The new school in Sundby will be built as a 2-track school from grades 0 9. class with an associated CKR department, as well as an integrated sports hall for a total of approx. 580 children and approx. 100 employees. Construction started in December 2020, but in December 2022 the general contractor went bankrupt, leaving in the connectedSee an unfinished building. After the bankruptcy, the builder has had the closing work carried out by another contractor. The client wishes to have the school building, sports hall, service building and outdoor areas completed, which generally includes completion of installation work and interior complementary building workjder incl. fixed fixtures as well as exterior paving and ground work.

The school occupies a floor area of approx. 9400 m2. as well as an adjacent service building of 300 m2.
Overall, the school has the following functions:

•Classrooms for science and practical/musical subjects.
•Classrooms for food science
•CKR and special SFO
•Sports hall (with changing rooms)
•Welcome center, library and canteen
•Management, administration and staff facilities
•Service building for operating staff
•Outdoor areas, hereunder internal traffic measures
The school will be Denmark's first permanent Swan-labelled school.
