Description:
Aalborg Renovation offers collection of food and residual waste for customers in Aalborg Municipality. Food and residual waste is collected from all households and businesses.
The contract includes collection of food and residual waste in 2- and 4-wheeled containers in the district that is not managed by Aalborg Renovation. Alborg Renovation manages the collection of food and residual waste in Storaalborg and -N0rresundby.
Food and residual waste are collected in the same container, but in different bags in the container, which after collection can be separated into the respective recycling and energy production (combustion).
Aalborg Renovation wishes,that the collection must take place with cars with alternative fuels to fossil diesel, primarily electricity, secondary HVO diesel to reduce the climate and CO2 footprint of the collection.
The collection includes urban areas, rural areas and holiday home areas:
•Number of emptying units in urban areas: approx. 28,000 (clearance Frikvens every 14 days)
•Number of emptying units in rural areas: approx. 7,000 (emptying frequency every 14 days)
•Number of emptying units in holiday home areas: approx. 4,000 (35 emptyings per year)
During the contract period there will be variations in the number of emptying units in the three areas.
Since the bags collected must beintact when delivered to the color separation facility, there is a requirement for how high a compression pressure may be used during collection.
