Description: Institution for Transport and Guard (ITB). In 2018, the Prison and Probation Service took over the function of the police, which deals with the driving of detainees to and from the court and other external functions. In addition, ITB has taken over the former "land transport", which handled the driving of detainees from the detention center to the individual institutions. ITB is located in Copenhagen, Kolding and Hobro. The institution consists of approx. 90 cars, MPV and 7-9 person, as well as some mid-range cars. The cars are remodeled safety with grid between front and rear seats, as well as between rear seats and trunk. There are approx. 22,000 transports annually, the cars were purchased between 2013 and 2018 and have driven between 20,000 and 200,000.
Transport of inmates. Within the individual prisons there is the transport of inmates to hearings, doctor, dentist and the like. The inventory consists of approx. 25 cars MPV and 7-9 persons and are located across the country.
