Description:
The Ministry of Defence, the Material and Procurement Agency (FMI), intends to offer a four-year framework agreement through a public tender. The agreement concerns the production of gold and silver plated, general embroidered and gold embroidered flags and standards for the Danish Armed Forces, the Home Guard and Emergency Servicesrelsen.
In this connection, the Norwegian Defense Forces wishes to preserve the traditional craft methods for the production of these banners and e-standards. Historically, there has been a tradition of producing banners and e-standards both embroidered and gold-plated.
For approx. 200 years ago, the tradition changed from brotherede for gold-plated banners and standards. For gold-plated flags, it applies that both text and marks/monogram must be able to withstand the elements, year after year, without cracking, throughout the flag cloth's lifetime. These flags and banners are produced using traditional methods and a very high level of craftsmanshipcommercial nature. Both flags and banners are expected to be of a very high quality.
